CSPE Liners
CSPE (chlorosulfonated polyethylene) liners have been used for more than 30 years, and have a history of reliability with both chemical and UV resistance. CSPE cures over time, enhancing durability but making it impossible to weld with RF or heat. Repairs are possible with adhesive. CSPE has a longer lead time than other materials.
Outdated project specifications may still refer to CSPE as Hypalon®. Hypalon is a DuPont tradename for CSPE. DuPont developed CSPE as a synthetic rubber early 1950's and manufactured it until 2009.
